A note from the studio

For a long time, I've thought about sharing more of the things that happen around the work.

Not just the finished projects or polished photos, but the conversations before an idea becomes something real. The lessons learned halfway through. The things that work. The things that don't. The small details noticed while traveling, cooking, walking through a city, or standing in a crowd waiting for a band to take the stage.

Over the years, I've been fortunate to work on projects for brands, venues, products, and places that people care deeply about. Murals that live in stadiums. Packaging on shelves. Posters hanging in basements and music rooms years later. Some projects happen quietly. Others become part of everyday life.

What's shaped the work most, though, rarely makes it into a portfolio.

Relationships. Experiences. Curiosity. Paying attention.

Studio Notes is a place for some of that.

You can expect occasional behind-the-scenes looks at projects, thoughts on branding and creative work, travel observations, food worth cooking, lessons learned the hard way, and whatever else feels worth sharing at the time.

No strict formula. Just thoughtful notes from the studio.

I've always believed the relationship matters as much as the work. That good things tend to happen when people stay curious, show up consistently, and treat others well.

I'm hoping these become the kind of notes people enjoy opening from time to time.
